ABOUT US
Old Plank Forge is helmed by Clay Kilgore, a 9th generation metal worker and historian.
With more than 20 years of experience, Clay bridges his expertise in blacksmithing, engraving and woodworking with a deep respect for historical detail and accuracy.
Working from his studio forge in Washington County, Clay is a mainstay at Western PA museums, reenactments, schools, fairs and festivals -- you may see him demonstrating the basics of blacksmithing or showcasing Old Plank Forge products.
